Microsoft Project integration deprecation in 25.9

  • Object Properties deprecation — As part of the 25.9 product release, InEight Estimate in the Cloud is upgrading to a newer technology framework to further enhance the reliability and performance of our platform. With this upgrade, the integration with Microsoft Project will no longer be available. ClosedRead more

The integration with Microsoft Project will no longer be available due to Microsoft’s deprecation of Interop functionality in .NET applications.

As an alternative to Microsoft Project, InEight recommend using InEight Schedule, our collaborative, easy to use planning and scheduling solution built to construction industry standards. Schedule includes two-way integration with Estimate in the Cloud and also supports exports to Microsoft Project (.MPP) for continued compatibility where needed. This change does not affect Estimate on-premise.
